Alpacas are also celebrating Christmas… and in such a way! Salt Castle Studios has just added a Holiday Update to its amusing Alpaca Ball: Allstars, with a distinct Christmas theme. Already available to all Steam users, and soon for Switch users, this update adds three new customization options for our alpacas, plus a new field.

Designated as Christmas Market, this new field not only offers a rabidly Christmas-like atmosphere, but also incorporates another element to the mechanics of the matches: a small train that is dedicated to circulate tirelessly on the margins of the field, rolling over everything that it catches in its path.

The train can not only deflect the trajectory of the ball and knock out several players, but by running in front of both goalposts it is able to stop, accidentally, shots that were clearly going to goal, adding a new layer of chaos to the matches.

In addition to this new court, the Holiday Update adds three new customization options to our alpacas: a hat and scarf kit, moose antlers, and Santa’s hat and beard.
