Zenith on Nintendo Switch
Infinigon’s hilarious Action RPG debuts on Nintendo Switch: sorcerers, elves, singing spiders – you’ve never seen anything like it.
Another Action RPG starring a brave adventurer? Not exactly. Zenith proposes a fun and sarcastic vision of the most common clichés of the genre, through the eyes of the sorcerer Argus Windell, although the term Arcanologist would be more correct. Tired of a world in constant war, of heroes determined to enter places where no one had invited them, and of magicians as incompetent as they are greedy, Argus decides to retire in search of peace and tranquillity.
For his misfortune, and our amusement, Argus’ resting period is short-lived, and he is soon enveloped in a new odyssey that includes haughty elves, giant tarantulas singing opera, very aggressive golems and much more. Zenith debuted in 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, created by Infinigon, a Spanish team. Now BadLand Publishing has the honor of producing the adaptation for Nintendo Switch, which includes optimized graphics compared to the original.
Cristian Pastor (Creative Director) and Marc Lopez (Narrative Director), the two people who led the original development, came to the Badland Publishing offices to test the final version of Switch’s Zenith and answer our questions in the following video:
Zenith is packed with tons of parodies and pop culture references, combats against fantastic beings, wonderfully absurd dialogues and all the classic elements you expect to find in an Action RPG, including a skills tree and equipment upgrade. Are you willing to join Argus on his most insane adventure? Zenith is now available in digital format through the Nintendo Switch eShop.
